If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to complete a Travel Questionnaire. This can do done via the on line link or by asking at reception. Please allow at least 4 weeks before you travel.
Please note we are unable to vaccinate you if you are travelling in less than 4 weeks and would advise you seek guidance from a Travel Clinic. (We can provide you with details).
Once we have received your travel questionnaire the practice nurse will contact you to let you know which travel vaccinations you require and will advise you when the prescription will be ready for collection. You will need to collect this from the surgery and take to the pharmacy for dispensing. After this you will make an appointment with the practice nurse to have the vaccine administered.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS
